Why Us

Mono Masonry are one of the leading stone masonry contractors in the UK.

Introduction To
Mono Masonry

We work on some of the most prestigious buildings in the UK, alongside some of the country's top tier architects and contractors.

Established in 2015, we've grown to over 20 full time masons due to our commitment towards apprenticeship training and career development. Our business has grown through our fanatical levels of service, our outstanding craftsmanship and our ability to get things done, and deliver for our clients.

We love what we do, and this comes across in everything we do. Our two founding directors are seasoned stonemasons themselves, which gives us a distinct advantage over others. Both from our love of the craft, and preserving our nation's heritage, but also our depth of expertise. Our directors, and our wider team have worked on any project imaginable.

Today, we are trusted to work on some of the largest and most complex stonemasonry projects in the UK. Starting out we worked on one off pieces, but today we are trusted to be the stonemasonry partner on entire programmes of work, in a lot of cases taking multiple years to complete.

When you need a team that cares immensely about the product they are creating, and will go above and beyond to deliver excellence, both in quality and service, then you should give us a call.

Client Testimonials

From the outset of this project right through to completion, we have really appreciated the professionalism and helpfulness of Gary and all of the team at Mono Masonry. The level of craftsmanship has been first class in restoring our lych gate and war memorial to their former glory. The result of this work enabled the community of Levenshulme to come together to commemorate the centenary of the end of the First World War around a fitting monument to those who never returned. I can’t recommend Mono Masonry high enough.
Revd George Reeves

St Peters, Levenshulme

From start to finish, Mono Masonry were a pleasure to work with. They understood our programme , demonstrated extensive knowledge of restoration work and were incredibly professional through the project. Their Operatives were punctual, communicative, and Health and Safety management was taken with the utmost levels of importance. The quality of their work was first class restoring the Gatehouse from a Blank Canvas, only using a set of historic photographs to replicate its original appearance, which showed a wealth of expertise in this field. They went above and beyond to ensure our project was completed to the exact specifications, budget, detailing and programme and I highly recommend them for any future restoration works.

All aspects of the work went smoothly, achieving a minimum time disruption to the footpath and traffic lane. The architect and the church council are delighted with the completed scheme. I would not hesitate in recommending this company for specialist stonework repairs / new build.
