James Beddow and Gary Collier started Mono Masonry with one founding belief – true craftsmanship.
At Mono Masonry we are passionate about Conservation. Born through a love of Britains heritage, and preserving our rich history; we take pride in working on the country’s finest listed buildings, ecclesiastical buildings and war memorials, amongst other specialist projects.
Gary and James, have each around 20 years experience, and have built strong working relationships over the years with other highly respected trades and craftsmen, enabling us to confidently run projects with sub-contractors that we can trust. With in-house capabilities to manage every stage of your project: from design concepts, drawings and templates, to completing precise masonry in our extensive workshop facilities. We are able to run large and historically sensitive projects with precision only found with true craftsmen.
James’ passion for preserving our Nation’s heritage stretches back to 1998 when he first began his career as an apprentice Stonemason. Since then James has worked on some of our Country’s finest buildings, working his way through the ranks to run large scale projects. James’ vast experience in the field enables him to ensure that projects are delivered on time, on budget, and that the quality of craftsmanship is nothing more than first class.
Gary began his career in 2000, quickly showing his flare for Geometry and precision stonework. He went on to compete in and win Regional and National finals and won Silver in the 2005 World Skills Competition. With his experience working alongside some of the Country’s best Architect’s, and attention to detail that is second to none, Gary now focuses his talents working with clients to deliver complex projects to the highest of standards.
